Flawless processing of your pages is assured provided that they are submitted as certified PDF1.3, in accordance with the specifications of the Ghent PDF Workgroup *)

Here follows a summary of the main subjects.
||certified PDF1.3 files conforming to the current Ghent PDF Workgroup specifications
|| a PDF file should contain one page, with trimbox and registration marks, bleed 3mm minimum
|| in accordance with the Roto Smeets guidelines (the file name plays an important role in the processing of the printform)
||in accordance with the printing technique and the paper class
||PDF1.3 files preferably online via the method as agreed with the printing plant, colour proofs via courier
*) the Ghent PDF Workgroup (GWG) is an international platform for the development of process specifications for graphic workflows (www.gwg.org).
These specifications are designed to guarantee completely reliable production from photography through to printing.
This is achieved by checking various graphic parameters with best practice criteria.
As from January 2010, the GWG specifications were updated from version 1v3 to 1v4, based (as before) on PDF/X-1a, the ISO-15930 specification for graphical industry use of PDF 1.3
