Paper and digital media complement each other
 We believe that all information will eventually be available to the public in a
digital form. As this happens, digital archives will become more and more important.
In spite of this, we are convinced that paper will remain an important communication
medium. In fact, internet and other digital media have actually increased the amount
of information produced on paper. We expect that electronic media will eventually
find their own place between the other media.
Digital archiving will make it easier to re-use information and this will increase in
the future. The challenge is to find efficient ways to re-use this information, no
matter what media form is chosen. We have adapted our organisation to take advantage
of these developments. And we shall continue to invest in this area. |
